Who can be listed on Congres.com?

Three types of organizations can appear on the platform: destinations (regional tourism associations, municipalities), event venues (hotels, convention centres, multifunctional halls, unique spaces, etc.) and suppliers of products and services related to business events.

⚠️ Please note:
Tourist accommodation establishments holding a CITQ number that wish to appear on Congres.com must be members of the Association Hôtellerie du Québec (AHQ). Become a member and discover the many benefits and services offered.

All organizations have a profile that includes their logo, photos, contact details, and a link to their website.

A direct contact form to reach your designated representative is available for destinations and event venues.

Venues can display their banquet capacity, number of meeting rooms, total meeting space, floor plans, number of accommodations (rooms, suites, condos, chalets) for the relevant establishments, a description, and links to their social media pages.

Destinations can display a description, points of interest, maximum banquet capacity, the number of hotels and available rooms, event venues in the region registered on Congres.com, services offered, and links to their social media pages.

Suppliers who select a higher visibility plan can appear in the “Featured Suppliers” section on the homepage. This section links to a dedicated page where the organization can add additional content (title, image and texte) to stand out to event planners.

Increased visibility among event planners, generation of qualified leads, enhanced connection with potential clients, and access to complementary services such as strategic monitoring, sector studies, provincial event tracking, and sustainable development tools.

Your contact details and a link to your website are visible for all organizations.

For destinations and event venues, an integrated form within your profile allows planners to contact your designated representative directly.

  • Yes, if you are a tourist accommodation establishment holding a CITQ number.
  • No, if you are a destination, an event venue other than a tourist accommodation establishment, or a supplier.

Your profile becomes visible once your registration has been validated by our team and payment has been received. 

Yes, you can update your information at any time.

If you’re a supplier, please contact [email protected] to request any changes.

If you’re a destination or an event venue, you can make modifications directly through your member area. Please note that any changes made to your profile must first be approved by our team before being published on the website and made visible in your member area. A step-by-step guide to using the member area is available HERE.

Destinations can include a slogan and attractions in their profiles. The addition or modification of these elements is not done through the member area and must be submitted by email to [email protected].

For each attraction, the title and a link to the website must be provided in order to be integrated into the profile.

Each organization has two distinct contacts with complementary roles:

1. Primary contact
The primary contact is the email address used to contact you for administrative matters and official communications. It notably receives:

  • communications related to membership and renewals;

  • billing communications, unless a different billing email address has been specifically provided;

  • strategic monitoring updates, institutional communications, and other information intended for registered members.

2. Website contact
The website contact is the person publicly displayed as the contact on the organization’s profile on Congres.com and to the administrator of the member area. This is also the email address that:

  • receives the login credentials for the member area;

  • receives inquiries from event organizers via the contact form available on your organization’s profile.

If the website contact is changed:

  • the former contact’s access is automatically deactivated;

  • new login credentials are sent to the newly designated contact.

Because it’s the business events showcase in Québec, designed to promote the ecosystem and efficiently connect planners with the right partners.
