  • In the Laurentians, night skiing is a much-appreciated tradition for experiencing magic under the stars. The Saint-Sauveur Valley has the « world’s largest night skiing terrain » with many slopes lit up until 10 p.m.
  • High quality awaits you: almost one in two accommodations is rated four stars or above in the Laurentians.
  • The emblem of the Parc national du Mont-Tremblant is the wolf, but do you know what coywolves are? This species comes from the interbreeding of eastern wolves and coyotes. It is estimated that in Quebec, more than 12% of coyotes and 37% of wolves are hybrids.
  • The P’Tit train du Nord railway has given a boost to the Pays d’en-Haut and turned into a long linear park that is a great place to ride in the summer or ski in the winter. Today, it is the longest park in Canada with four-season activities.
  • « The first North American chairlift was built in Shawbridge (now Prévost) in the early 1930s. During the winter of 1938–1939, the popular ‘snow trains’ transported over 100,000 skiers from Montreal to the Laurentians. »
